Swiss Chard, Winterbor Kale, and Red Russian Kale

Here are the overwintered veggies in the garden now:

Lettuce, there are 3 left.

Xian garlic, I planted them late, probably is best to use as greens and not wait for the bulbs.

Spinach need some nourishment.

 Cabbages

Romanesco broccoli, the brown spots were freeze burn from the heavy snow in December.

That's all I have in the garden now, I have some green onions and Asian greens seedlings growing under light, but I won't be starting anymore seeds until after the upcoming vacation, and we're installing a new sprinkler system for the backyard and growing beds, my planting schedule will be few weeks late this year.

Harvest Monday - February 20, 2012

Well, Harvest Monday is almost over, somehow I miss a day this week thinking today is Sunday, sorry for posting the harvest so late in the day.

The overwintered Piracicaba broccoli is beginning to bolt, I harvested all the shoots and pulled the plants.  The potted rosemary and mint overwintered in the living room are putting out new growth, I gave them haircut today and air dry the leaves for later use.
