Bok choy, peas, strawberries, Flamingo Chard, and some beet greens.
I use baby beet leaves for salad regularly but have never used older leaves,
I assume the taste is similar to chard, I'll find out soon.
Decided to pick more baby beets, green onions, and sugar snap peas.
This is the earliest tomato Ive grown, it's a Chinese hybrid without a name.
This one is grown in a container, another one growing in raised bed is also bearing fruits.
All other tomato plants are blooming at the same time but no fruits.
Container grown dwarf Blenheim apricot, I should be thinning the fruits.

The
seed packet says Broccoli Raab, but they don't look anything like the
BR I know, these plants are much bigger and taller than what I'm used to
see, there's no head or side shoots forming except lots of leaves, the
seeds are from Johnny's, have you grown this broccoli raab before?

Pontiac red potatoes in smart pots are doing well.

Shark Fin Melon (魚翅瓜), aka Chilacayote squash.
Drop by Daphne's Dandelions host of Harvest Monday to see more harvests from around the globe.

looks like kale to me! definitely not BR! It all looks great though!
You have such beautiful harvests. Everything is so artfully arranged.
You have Spigariello Liscia. It's great.

everything looks wonderful; how is the chilicayote? I've pondered growing it in the past....
Amber, Daphne,
Thank you.
Anonymous,
Thanks, you're right, looks like a mislabeled seed packet.
Mary,
This is the first time I grow chilacayote, I know it grows wild that's why I have it in a container, it might be perennial in your neck of the woods.
lovely harvest. Love the colorful baby beets!
Do you roll up the sides of the smart pots and add soil as the potatoes grow?
I can't believe that you have tomatoes set already! I just planted mine out today and they have such a looong way to go...
Gorgeous harvests and your plants all look amazingly healthy and lush. The variety of items in your harvest mix is impressive for this early in the year.
I have a few tomatoes with fruit too (earliest I think I have ever managed so far)! You will probably beat me to the ripeness finish line though with warmer conditions in your region as compared to mine (generally).
That is an amazing variety of produce, and beautiful too. I love it that you too are growing potatoes in gro pots. I have potatoes, yams, and eggplant in mine. I laughed when I saw your tiny tomato because I posted a similar picture of mine today, an itty bitty Box Car Willie.
I find the beet greens have a stronger flavour than chard. your harvests are looking great and I particularly like those potato bag/pots.
Charm,
Than you.
michelle,
Yes, the sides of the pots are rolled up as I add soil to the pots, it's much easier for me.
This is the first time I have tomatoes in May, usually they don't come in until late July or early August, don't know why, maybe it's the weather.
kitsapFG,
I'm keeping my fingers crossed :))
Lou,
Yeah, I get excite to see little toms in May, first early mato for me after growing them all these years.
I may have to buy more of those gro pots, they are deep and takes up less space than conventional pots, but ugly looking though.
Liz,
Thanks.
You're right, the mature beet leaves are much stronger flavour, we prefer regular chard.
Everything looks so good and beautiful! :)
Susana,
Thank you.
You are so far ahead of us, my tomatoes are still not in the garden yet, I am going to take a chance and transplant them but am going to hold off on my angled luffa.
What a great garden. I also planted some vegetables in my small garden.
'Potatoes in smart pots'... hmmm, this is one idea that I should be trying out in the future... bountiful harvest you have...
